ZAT is a certified supplier of ACS TP for nuclear and classical power generation, open cast mining and raw material transportation, gas distribution, transport and industrial processes. Due to hundreds of projects executed worldwide we are familiar with our customers‘ requirements, their technologies and background conditions. As a major supplier we provide engineering services and supplies, including current status analysis, solution proposal and complex implementation.
We closely follow technology advancements and tendencies in automation and employ our engineering and development resources in order to offer our customers the most suitable ACS TP solution backed by our own control system or by systems of other renowned manufacturers.

Control system ZAT Plant Suite MP


One could divide structure of control system ZAT – Plant Suite MP to two main parts connected through process communication.

Upper part of the system is created by level arranged in a hierarchical way comprising all tools of operator control and other systems for storing, processing and monitoring of all process data. Interconnection up to plant information and control systems is requested ever more frequently. Today this level is generally applied in computers of PC standard under operating system Windows. Tools of Factory Suite by Wonderware company (representing high technological mean in given branch) are used for creation of single applications in control system ZAT - Plant Suite MP most frequently. ZAT has its experience also with putting into operation of other open vizualization systems (e.g. Reliance by GEOVAP company, ControlWeb by Moravské pøístroje company, etc.). Also own tool ZAT Grafik is available for simple applications.

Lower part of the system, identified as ZAT - 2000 MP, represents level of process control and comprises all tools for performing of control algorithms and connection of inputs and outputs for technological process. Hardware devices and software tools of this level are solved by own development and manufacturing with wide using of open standards and integration of components and solutions of third parties.




Nuclear power industry

  • SGPS – the protection system of steam generators designed for large changes limitation of feed water levels in steam generators

  • PCS and In-Core – a technology information system that is the basic part of an automated control system of nuclear power plant technology A part of the PCS technology information system is the In-Core system of in-core temperature instrumentation

      • Reduction of transducer numbers of monitored/ controlled parameters by means of transducers shared by multiple systems

       

     

    • System features:

      • “MDS SO – Monitoring and diagnostics system of the secondary part” – forms the diagnostics of the secondary part.

      • MDS SO monitors and processes continually the behaviour of secondary part components and provides the plant operator with detailed information about the current status of the technological equipment, both from the point of view of momentary measuring and the time development of an event.

      • Output information from MDS SO has supporting character when the plant operator decides to implement interferences into block operation from the point of view of the operation safety or block operation economy. Output information also helps the plant operator to plan repairs of the technological equipment based on its current status.

      Main goals of MDS SO:

      • To record changes in technological behaviour that can signalize the beginning of the development of a failure.

      • To record events immediately and transient performances continuously during the course of operation that influence the lifetime use.

      • To evaluate a slow change (function deterioration) of technology caused by operational wear-out.

       

     

    • System features:

      • In nuclear power plants, apart from the nuclear part (primary and secondary part) there is also the non-nuclear part, so-called common part (auxiliary facilities).

      • Controlled technologies of auxiliary facilities are formed by:

        • auxiliary gas boiler room

        • main interchange station

        • heating, ventilation and air conditioning

        • technology with the use of radiation check

        • chemical water treatment

        • Control and information systems of auxiliary facilities are implemented with systems utilized in fossil burning power plants.

Conventional power industry

Gas distribution


In the area of gas distribution we aim at supplies of solutions in local facilities up to large regional applications.
