Safety Switches


Enabling Switches


Enabling switches are manually operated control devices designed to protect personnel working in hazardous areas of machinery and equipment.

Safety Modules


EUCHNER ESM and ESM-F Safety Modules are designed to evaluate connected safety components and reliably turn off hazardous machine functions in the event of an unsafe condition. It will also ensure that the machine cannot be restarted until the unsafe condition is corrected and the module reset. This can be used to protect people, machinery and manufacturing processes.

AS Interface "Safety at Work"


The ASi Bus is a reliable way to implement safety devices on a communication bus. It can also be used to reliably activate outputs, such as locking solenoids. Data from all connected devices is transmitted through a two-wire cable to a safety controller. This will turn off hazardous machine functions in the event of an unsafe condition. A Windows compatible software package is available for easy configuration, monitoring and diagnostics. Single and multiple bus interface modules are also available. Many Euchner products can be purchased with an ASi interface. This reduces the time for assembly, installation, testing and downtime.

Rope Pull Switch


Rope Pull Switch (RPS switch) provides redundant safety contacts with monitoring contacts. The RPS switch triggers with increase (pulling) or decrease (severing) in tension of safety cable or pushing of E-stop.
